Having spent a few days actually testing what's available rather than just reading the press release, here's what I think genuinely matters for a working editor's day-to-day pipeline.
The color mode update is a real workflow change, not a cosmetic one
A more capable color management approach directly inside Premiere reduces a specific, recurring headache: mismatched color spaces between footage from different camera sources landing in one timeline and needing manual correction before any actual grading can start.
